Day 3

Forgot to post yesterday so I'll just recap a little bit. Yesterday we drove from New Orleans to Houston. Wasn't to bad of a drive. I think it was just under 6 hours. But, we now know that driving across west Texas is gonna be really dull because east Texas wasn't exactly exciting. Anyway Houston is a pretty cool city and we are right downtown. Its actually not a whole lot different from Atlanta really. They have a street similar to Peachtree with a lot of bars and restaurants on it. They also have a good number of bums that ask for handouts. Last night we went out on that street (Main Street), ate at a good Mexican restaurant then went to an Irish pub kinda place. We ended up talking to some of the locals and got some more ideas of stuff to see today because all we knew that we wanted to see was the space center.
